The Boot Story…

The soulful spirit of the slave quilts and the unique “crazy quilts” of the Victorian era, illustrates the strength and depth of women’s imagination and ingenuity in the face of great struggles.

“Every Little Detail” was inspired by those labors of love and fabric expressions. This piece is a record of precious childhood memories and a history of the people, places, fabrics, and events that have influenced and guided my steps as an artist.
